Revelation 3:7-13
Faithful in Little

Revelation 3:7-9
“Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. This is the message from the one who is holy and true, the one who has the key of David. What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes, no one can open: “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me. Look, I will force those who belong to Satan’s synagogue—those liars who say they are Jews but are not—to come and bow down at your feet. They will acknowledge that you are the ones I love.

Acts 20:28 (Prov. 27:3, 1Pet.5:2-3)

“So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood—over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.

*Ephesus – The One who holds the seven stars in His hands and walks among the seven gold lampstands.
*Smyrna – Who is The First and the Last, who was dead but is now alive.
*Pergamum – The One with the sharp two-edged sword.
*Thyatira – The Son of God whose eyes are like flames of fire, whose feet are like polished bronze.
*Sardis – The One who has the seven fold Spirit of God and the seven stars..

1Peter 1:15-16

But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

Revelation 3:10-13

Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God—the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name. “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

Take a way:

God opens and closes doors, trust Him in either case.

1Corinthians 16:9

There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me.

Acts 14:27

On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

Luke 16:10

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones.
