This vital role is about more than just maintaining our building; it's about creating a welcoming and safe environment where our church family can connect with God and each other without distraction. Your God-given gifts – whether they lie in organization, problem-solving, practical skills, or a keen eye for detail – are essential in ensuring our physical space reflects the care and excellence we strive for in all we do. By serving in Facilities, you directly contribute to the smooth operation of our ministries and help create a place where hearts can be open to the work of the Holy Spirit. Helping in our facilities is a vital way to serve and support our community, and there are many opportunities to get involved. Our Saturday Cleaning Crew faithfully keeps the building welcoming, and during months that include a 5th Sunday, volunteers come together for a more thorough deep cleaning. On Sundays, we also rely on a setup crew to prepare spaces for services and activities, as well as a breakdown crew to restore rooms afterward. In addition, a special events crew assists with preparations and cleanup for conferences, celebrations, and other gatherings, while our building maintenance team helps care for ongoing repairs and upkeep. Each role plays an important part in creating a safe, clean, and inviting environment for everyone.
