Romans 8:31-34
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
John 17:15-17a
I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth…
Romans 8:35-37
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Jeremiah 31:3
The LORD appeared to him from afar: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion.
God’s everlasting love refers to concepts of eternity and everlastingness, something hidden or concealed, a reality beyond human perception, beyond a “vanishing point.” God’s everlasting love transcends time and human understanding, it is anchored on God’s promises and a reality that is both eternal and beyond full comprehension.
John 16:1-4
“I have told you these things so that you won’t abandon your faith. For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God. This is because they have never known the Father or me. Yes, I’m telling you these things now, so that when they happen, you will remember my warning. I didn’t tell you earlier because I was going to be with you for a while longer.
Romans 8:38-3
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Take a way:
Am I convinced of God’s everlasting love for me?
Psalms 103:17
But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him…
God’s everlasting love for us is based entirely on His own character.
Genesis 9:16
When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.
God’s everlasting love is what your heart longs for.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in His time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
