Naaman was angry when Elisha told him to wash in the Jordan River to be healed of his leprosy. He expected a dramatic miracle, not a simple act of obedience. But his servants encouraged him to listen. Naaman humbled himself, dipped in the river seven times, and was completely healed. His skin became like that of a young boy. Naaman returned to Elisha, grateful and changed—not just physically, but spiritually. He declared that there was no God except the God of Israel. This story reminds us that God often works through simple obedience and that healing can come when we trust Him.

 Prayer

Dear God, thank You for healing and for the power of simple obedience. Help us to listen to Your voice and to trust Your ways, even when they don’t make sense to us. Thank You for the people who encourage us to do what’s right. May our family always follow You with humble hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
