Samaria was suffering from a terrible famine during a siege by the Syrian army. Elisha had prophesied that food would be abundant the next day, but many doubted. Meanwhile, four lepers at the city gate decided to go to the Syrian camp, hoping for mercy. To their surprise, the camp was empty—God had caused the Syrians to flee in fear, leaving behind all their food and supplies. The lepers began to gather the goods but then realized they needed to share the good news. They returned to Samaria and told the city, fulfilling Elisha’s prophecy. This story reminds us of the importance of sharing blessings and trusting God’s promises.

 Prayer

Dear God, thank You for providing in ways we don’t expect. Help us to trust Your promises and to share the good things You give us with others. Teach us to be brave like the lepers and to bring hope to those who need it. May our family always be ready to share Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
