The Shunammite woman, who had shown great kindness to Elisha, was blessed with a son through God’s promise. But one day, the boy suddenly became sick and died. Heartbroken, the woman went straight to Elisha, believing that God could help. Elisha returned with her, went into the room where the boy lay, and prayed. He stretched himself over the child, and God brought the boy back to life. This miracle showed God’s compassion, Elisha’s faith, and the power of prayer.
