In 2 Kings 13, the prophet Elisha falls ill and dies. Before his death, King Jehoash of Israel visits him, and Elisha gives him a prophetic sign involving arrows, symbolizing victory over Aram. After Elisha dies, something extraordinary happens: a dead man is thrown into Elisha’s tomb and comes back to life upon touching Elisha’s bones. This miracle shows that God's power was still working through Elisha, even after his death, and reminds us that God's promises endure beyond our lifetimes.

 Family Prayer

Dear God,
Thank You for the life of Elisha and the powerful lessons we learn from his faith. Help us to live in a way that honors You and leaves a legacy of love, truth, and courage. May Your power work through us, and may our lives point others to You. Teach us to trust in Your promises and to be faithful in all we do.
Amen.
